Nested NFTs are getting a whole new look!

If you didn’t know, the NFTs from WUD Universe are Nested NFTs, a unique type of advanced NFTs using Unique’s technology stack.

What are Nested NFTs?

Nested NFTs allow you to nest or “bundle” NFTs into other NFTs, creating a parent — child relationship dynamic.

They are:

• Multi-faceted collections

• Bundle NFTs together from different collections

• Layer NFTs, such as digital art pieces, together

What does this mean for WUD Universe?

By leveraging the Unique Network SDK, the WUD team was able to:

  • Run large waves of mints/updates without noticeable cost or queueing.
  • Lowered the entry barrier and kept the team small.
  • Game mechanics out of the box: Bundled NFTs, Nested NFTs, Dynamic metadata.

Users log in with a Polkadot-based wallet and receive a soulbound Cabin NFT, which serves as their customizable room.

All furniture and décor are separate NFTs with rules like transferability, supply, and dynamic metadata. Equipping items nests them inside the Cabin, updating its on-chain state and visual preview in real time.

NFTMozaic x WUD Livestream: Cabin Showcase

Important Quartz Announcement!

With Polkadot’s JAM protocol on the horizon, we’re getting ready for the release. In the upcoming update, we’re restricting external use of the Quartz blockchain starting Oct 27, 2025

Here’s a quick rundown:

  • Developer pallets will be disabled
  • The XCM transfers from Quartz to Karura will close on October 27, 2025
  • QTZ holders can swap, claim, or receive airdrops of UNQ / KAR

Swap window → Oct 27 → 31st March, 2026

Rate → 25 QTZ = 1 UNQ

This is a very crucial update, so please ensure you’re staying up to date, and follow our updates & new info on X (Twitter).
