The Digital Fan Club: Conor Daly Insider Pass
At the start of this year’s summer, Unique Network tapped into the captivating world of Fan Engagement in Web3 – harnessing the power of blockchain technology to develop a one-of-a-kind Digital Fan Club: the Conor Daly Insider Pass.
Race car and Conor Daly fans from all across the world were introduced to exclusive experiences, and rewards, and fostered deeper connections with their favorite racing superstar and Polkadot brand ambassador, Conor Daly.
During the Indy 500 motorsports event in May, we witnessed an incredible response with over 500 claims for our unique Digital Pass. This pass allowed fans supporting Conor Daly in the pit to seamlessly engage with the Web3 realm, often without even realizing it.
The Conor Daly Insider Pass leveraged blockchain technology behind the scenes, allowing fans access to personal experiences, prizes, and exclusive insider news. Later, holders could participate in an exclusive raffle at Consensus to win a collectible mini-helmet signed by Conor Daly.
Whilst there may be some challenges along the way to enhance the Fan Engagement experience for non-crypto natives, we made it our mission to introduce a user-friendly platform and experience that demonstrates the true power of Web3 technology, even to people who may not be completely familiar with it.
Redefining events with eco-evolving DOTphin Proof of Presence Tokens
In collaboration with the Sovereign Nature Initiative (SNI) and WalletConnect, we launched the DOTphin NFTs—an eco-friendly, evolving Dynamic NFT that integrates a playful gamification element.
Launched during Polkadot Decoded, 2024 in Brussels, these eco-evolving DOTphin NFTs travel from one event to another, enabling participants from various countries to experience this new gamification of Proof of Presence NFTs – connecting audiences with a meaningful ecological narrative.
Creating unique and engaging experiences for event attendees is becoming more challenging, especially as major events often struggle with community involvement and offering meaningful incentives for participation.
Much like SNI, brands, franchises, and projects across industries—whether in fashion, technology, or ecology—are recognizing the need for thoughtful, interactive technology to build deeper connections with their audiences and foster lasting engagement.
Unique solved this by focusing on the dynamic and evolution aspect of the DOTphin NFTs, enabling SNI to have verifiable dynamic data updates on-chain. Each Proof of Presence token evolves based on active user engagement — creating personalized and interactive experiences for each attendee at selective events.
Leading NFTs 2.0 into The Future on Polkadot
Jumping into the future, we’re here to spearhead NFTs 2.0 (a conceptual wave and new era of NFTs led by Unique Network) on Polkadot.

During Polkadot Decoded Asia in Singapore, the team announced a major milestone by testing Cross-Chain NFTs across Asset Hub and Unique Network in a developer environment. More exciting NFT XCM developments are the on way, and we’re looking forward to working closely with talented developers and projects in the ecosystem!

Important Ecosystem Changes
As we focus on ecosystem products and services, we’re scaling products that we know will benefit organizations, community members, and builders, and discontinuing products that serve no extra value. We know user experience and product familiarity are key to keeping products simplistic without overwhelming users.
We will utilize the well-known Subscan platform for viewing and tracking your tokens; nfts etc, instead of Unique Scan. Additionally, we will retire the Unique Wallet, in favour of utilising the popular ecosystem-friendly wallets, such as Talisman, Nova Wallet & Subwallet.
