We’re thrilled to introduce the latest NFTs 2.0 CodeCraft project to hit the Polkadot ecosystem: ChessOnChain! As the name suggests, ChessOnChain is a community project, a chess game, built by passionate Polkadot community members who love creating fun, engaging, and interactive games on Polkadot.
ChessOnChain sees you dive into the world of chess but with a twist! Play games with friends (or at random), compete in high-stake tournaments, climb up the leaderboards, and earn exclusive NFTs as you play along.

The CodeCraft Fair
Alongside the ChessOnChain partnership, we’re excited to introduce the spectacular CodeCraft Fair! The CodeCraft Fair program lets you experience the most innovative NFT projects in the Polkadot ecosystem.
The CodeCraft Fair stems from the CodeCraft program, where we help projects integrate Advanced NFTs and unique visions to their ideas as these teams work towards an MVP (Minimum Viable Products) solution. These projects are later showcased to the community at the CodeCraft Fair as they share their achievements and milestones!
Key Focuses:
- Collect community feedback on MVPs so projects can further improve before their official release.
- Involve the Unique and Polkadot communities to participate in something out of the box and experience NFT projects like never before.
- Earn rewards for your participation!
- We aim to strengthen our partnerships with other projects in the community and empower developers (indie and professional) to ideate something new and build an ever-lasting NFT product.
- Get early access before anyone else to see these projects come to life – you’ll be at the forefront of true NFT innovation.

Our motto is simple: Build fast, validate faster — create your first NFT App MVP
The NFTs 2.0 CodeCraft Grant Fund by Unique Network empowers you to create innovative dApps or Micro dApps, highlighting the potential of Advanced NFTs on both Unique and Polkadot.
Create your side project, dive into advanced NFTs (e.g., Customizable NFTs, Composable NFTs, Nested NFTs, etc.), and showcase your vision to the community with Unique’s support.
In a nutshell:
- See your dream project come to life.

- Easy application process that takes less than 5 minutes to fill out!
- Once submitted, you’ll hear from us within 1 week.
We’ve had an overwhelming response to the CodeCraft Grant Program in 2024 and are dedicating the rest of the year to supporting our existing projects and applications.
